Some links on CrowdTechDaily are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and back a campaign or make a purchase, CrowdTechDaily may receive a commission. This normally does not increase the price you pay.
Affiliate partners may include crowdfunding referral platforms such as Kickbooster, retailer affiliate programs, direct brand programs, or other referral networks. Not every campaign or product we cover has an affiliate relationship.
How we disclose affiliate relationships
Articles containing affiliate links should include a clear disclosure near the relevant recommendation or link. Affiliate links may also be marked with attributes such as rel="sponsored". A general disclosure on this page does not replace article-level disclosure where a material relationship exists.
Editorial independence
Compensation does not guarantee coverage, a favorable conclusion, a particular rating, or inclusion in a comparison. We aim to apply the same evidence and risk standards whether or not a project offers a commission.
Our coverage may identify reasons to consider a product as well as open questions, limitations, campaign-specific risks, and reasons not to back or buy it. When an affiliate relationship creates a relevant conflict, we disclose it.
Sponsored content and paid placements
Paid placements, sponsored articles, or advertiser-supplied content will be labeled clearly. Sponsors may provide factual materials or request correction of factual errors, but they do not receive an undisclosed right to control our editorial conclusions.
Review units and product samples
If a company lends or provides a product, pays travel or production costs, or gives another material benefit related to coverage, we will disclose that relationship in the relevant article. Receiving a sample does not guarantee positive coverage.
Crowdfunding reminder
A pledge is not the same as buying an in-stock retail product. Campaign timelines, specifications, rewards, and delivery plans may change. Commission eligibility does not verify a creator, guarantee delivery, or reduce the risks of crowdfunding. Always review the official campaign page, creator updates, reward terms, and refund or cancellation rules before pledging.
